A Midsummer Night’s Dream

William Shakespeare’s beloved comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be presented at the UGA Founders Garden, June 10 & 11 at 6:30 PM. Admission is free to all the Athens community. Audience members are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs for seating. We also permit food and drink with the expectation that audience will pick up and dispose of their waste/trash.

Join us for what “portends” to be a fun evening of Spirits, Goblins, Kings, Queens, “Lunatics, Lovers and Poets”—all set in a pristine and historic garden that evokes the spirit of Shakespeare’s Stratford and the forest of Arden. The play is set in Shakespeare’s classical Athens and that choice proves to be a most fortuitous location for this production. This performance is suitable for all age groups. Directed by Ray Paolino.
