With roots dating back to 1893, UGA Theatre is the University of Georgia's leading purveyor of innovative theatrical experiences. UGA Theatre produces six shows every year from a wide range of genres that display both modern and classic sensibilities. Each season is made up of four Main Stage productions and two Studio shows that operate on a limited budget in order to focus on a raw, purely theatrical experience. The final performance of each semester takes place in the ornate Fine Arts Theatre (pictured above) while all other performances take place in the recently-renovated Cellar Theatre (below).
