RECENT UGA GRADS AT ORLANDO FRINGE

Recent UGA MFA Acting graduates Marlon Andrew Burnley, Charlie Cromer, and John Terry are making a splash at the 2018 Orlando Fringe Festival with their adaptation of H.G. Wells' classic tale The Island of Dr. Moreau.

The adaptation (titled The Encampment of Dr. Moreau) utilizes shadow puppetry, ventriloquism, inventive lighting, and various other media to update the story for a modern audience. UGA Theatre & Film Studies professors T. Anthony Marotta and George Contini provided assistance to the production before it went to Orlando and the team effort has created what Orlando Sentinel critic Susan Mitchell calls "nothing short of phenomenal."

For UGA alumni and current students who want to see the show, there are still a few chances to catch it at Orlando Fringe.
